Enthalpy of formation of liquid alloys Bi + Cd + Ga + Zn, Bi + Cd + Ga + In + Zn, Ga + In + Pb + Zn and Cd + Ga + In + Pb + Zn

Abstract
By high temperature calorimetry, enthalpies of formation of 4- and 5-component liquid alloys [Bi+Cd+Ga+Zn, Bi+Cd+Ga+In+Zn, Ga+In+Pb+Zn, Cd+Ga+In+Pb+Zn] have been measured. From the thermodynamic data of the limiting binary alloys and using the well-known relations of interpolation and the Hoch-Arpshofen model, the enthalpy of formation of these n- component alloys has been predicted. Comparing experimental and predicted data, a relation has been proposed to calculate the enthalpy of mixing of these systems on the entire molar fraction range.

Résumé
Experimentalement les enthalpies de formation d'alliages liquides à 4 et 5 constituants [Bi+Cd+Ga+Zn, Bi+Cd+Ga+In+Zn, Ga+In+Pb+Zn, Cd+Ga+In+Pb+Zn] ont été mesurées. Ces résultats ont été comparés aux valeurs obtenues en utilisant les relations d' interpolation - et modèle de Hoch-Arpshofen (H-A) - qui nécessitent la connaissance des enthalpies de formation des alliages liquides limitrophes. Pour chaque système une relation a été retenue qui permet de proposer la variation de la fonction enthalpie sur l'ensemble du domaine de composition.
