Chromatographic separation of the isotopic and nuclear spin species of the hydrogens at low temperatures
(Cryogenic Laboratory, Department of Chemistry, the Ohio State University, U.S.A.), U.S.A..
Several experiments employing the chromatographic technique have been performed to determine the relative separation factors of the isotopic and nuclear spin species of the hydrogens. Gamma alumina free from paramagnetic impurities was used as the adsorbent material in the column and the experiments were carried out at 55 °K. A comparison is made with theory.
