Excess enthalpies of some aliphatic amine + n-hexane or benzene mixtures

Abstract

Measurements of H^E of binary mixtures consisting of an aliphatic primary secondary or tertiary amine and n-hexane or benzene were carried out at 303.2 K. The investigated amines were n-propyl- n-hexyl- diaethyl-, dibutyl-, and triaethylamine. Some measurements of H^E at 323.3 K were carried out, and changes of the maximum of H^E vs. composition curves with both the length of the hydrocarbon chain and temperature were established.

Résumé

On a déterminé les enthalpies de mélange des systèmes binaires constitués par une amine aliphatique primaire, secondaire ou tertiaire — n-hexane ou benzène, à 303,2 K. Les amines étudiées ont été n-propyl, n-hexyl, diélhyl, dibutyl et triéthylaminc. Quelques déterminations ont été faites à 323,2 K et on a constaté des variations du maximum des curves H^E — composition avec la longueur de la chaîne hydrocarboné et la température.
