Abstract

The ultrasonic velocity and the density of the following organic compounds: o—C₆H₄Cl₂ ; o-C₆H₄ClBr, m—C₆H₄Cl₂, CH₃NO₂ and (C₂H₅)₂C₂O₄ have been measured above the melting point and the internal pressure is derived. The relation between the internal pressure and the fusion temperature is pointed out for these substances and for others studied previously.

Zusammenfassung

Es wurden bei einer über dem Schmelzpunkt liegenden Temperatur Ultraschallgeschwindigkeit und Dichte von o—C₆H₄Cl₂, o— C₆H₄ClBr, m—C₆H₄Cl₂, CH₃NO₂ und (C₂H₅)₂C₂O₄ gemessen. Ausserdem ist das Verhältnis zwischen Innendruck und Schmelzpunkttemperatur untersucht worden.
