Determination of thermodynamic functions of ZrO2 + CaO s.s. by eMF Measurements
Institute of Materials Science, AGH, al. Mickiewicza 30, Cracow, Poland.
Using a solid electrolyte conducting solely by Ca2+ ions the thermodynamic functions of the ZrO2-CaO system were determined. The data allow to conclude that monoclinic ZrO2-CaO s.s. behave as ideal solutions while the tetragonal and cubic ones as strictly regular solutions.
