Studies on heteronuclear intervalence transfer, part I: ferricyanides of bivalent elements
Department of Chemistry, University College of Science, Calcutta-9, India.
In the ferricyanides of bivalent metals-transition and non transition-thermal transfer of electron between hetero ions have been detected from electrical conductivity measurements. No optical heteronuclear transfer has been detected even with ferricyanides of bivalent transition elements. A tentative mechanism has been proposed to explain this finding as well as the broad ESR spectra obtained with these samples.
